but, sometime my fren n i called it 'Sellulit'... hihihihi... how easy to remember it right?..

Ummatic week @ CAC, IIUM

Yesterday, kak ina n i went to CAC.. saje nak zirah Ummatic week yg dah berkurun lamanya tak ku jenguk sekian kalinya. Sebenarnye, just to release tension lepas midterm. sadly, tak byk countries yg involves n tak ramai juga yang datang melawat mereka..

But, antara negara2 yang amik bahagian :

Kenya, Singapore, Malaysia (of course la), Saudi Arabia, Comoros Island, Maldives, Guinea, Somalia, Nigeria, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Turkey, Indonesia, Gambia, Sudan, Liberia, dan Yemen.. Bosnia, Oman n Ghana just letak diorang punya banner jer.. herm.

Antara yang paling best, Turkey dan Yemen..

Khat and islamic calligraphy suatu sorotan..

Barangkali ramai yang pernah belajar menulis khat sejak sekolah rendah lagi terutama yang pernah bersekolah di sekolah agama. Saje memilih topik ni sebab dah lama rasanye tak melibatkan diri dalam bidang ni especially competitions. Bukan pe, dedulu ,memang seronok bile diingat. Zaman2 berkecimpung menulis dan melakar khat di atas sehelai kertas. kemudian dipamer untuk dinilai oleh judges. Tapi, bila dikenang kembali, bukannye reti sangat pun seni khat dan kaligraphy ni. Just tau dua tiga jenis jer. yang agak mahir pun nasakh, thulus je. yang lain takat nak copy atau tiru2 tu bolehla sikit.

So, sorotan kali ni nak mengembalikan nostalgia itu yg mana dan pastinya ramai dah tak amik tau pun pasal kaligrafi dan khat ni. Renung2kan..
